The number of Facebook users who play games within the social network has grown within the last two years, or 205 million as it was in August of 2011, 235 million in August 2012. And now, the world's largest social network counts 250 million gamers video games on its site.
However, this number was the same in 2010, after which Facebook users play games began to fall, and before this period half of social network users play games within the site.
Today, Facebook is again increasing as the number of user interaction as well as revenues. Currently, the number of people paying for games on Facebook has increased by 24 per cent, while 20 per cent of the total active users of the site playing games.
Increased activity within Facebook players is probably well paid for game developers, who have received more than $ 2 billion from the social network, in 2012.
